I was very lucky to have a second baby shower - this time up in Darwin with my lovely northern friends. My sister Rebecca also flew up from Canberra for the weekend, and my close friend Cyn drove up from Katherine. It was lovely to spend time with lots of my gorgeous friends, play some games and catch up!
I had the cake, macarons and cookies made from The Chantilly Kitchen here in Darwin. Tenille who is Chantilly Cakes is so talented and I knew as soon as I found out I was pregnant that I wanted Tenille to be the one to make the cake for the baby shower! I was so so so impressed - thanks Tenny, you really hit the nail on the head and I loved everything!
Thanks so much to all my beautiful friends for coming, and in particular my sis Beck for helping out and cooking / prepping food all day, Cyn for helping me organise, buying food and being the master of ceremonies and Emma for bringing cupcakes and pinwheels! Much appreciated lovelies!
Gift and Games table
Yummy Macarons from The Chantilly Kitchen, and cupcakes made from my gorgeous friend Emma.
More of Emma's great cupcakes.
The gift bags for my guests - cookies made by The Chantilly Kitchen, and mini baby bottles with jelly beans.
I had one drink container full of lemonade for us pregnant ladies, and children, and some of the food.
The party table - the other drink on the other end was very potent Blue Lagoon which by all reports was delicious.
My gorgeous family.
Present time!!! My beautiful daughter Isabel was very excited so I let her help me to unwrap the gifts.
My gorgeous friend Susan won the jelly bean guessing competition!
The amazing cake that was made from Tenille from The Chantilly Kitchen - absolutely love it and so

Running Events for 2015!
I am desperately missing running! I know some people would think that is quite sad but I do love keeping fit and pushing myself to my limits..
So as such I have been researching events for next year after bub arrives. I am planning on giving myself 3-4 months to get myself back into running shape... here is my planned time table:
31 May 2015 - Penang Run 8km Fun Run 2015/2016 Series Race 1 - Penang
21 June 2015 - JSP City Run Penang 10km - Penang
4 July 2015 - Darwin Runners & Walkers 10km - Darwin
2 August 2015 - Forward Oat King Sports Run 2015 Half Marathon - Penang
13 September 2015- Penang Starwalk 7km - Penang
25 October 2015 - Penang Run Half Marathon 2015/2016 Series Race 2 - Penang
15 November 2015 - Penang Bridge Half Marathon / Marathon - Penang
6 December 2015 - Singapore Marathon - Singapore
I know there are quite a few more runs in Penang so will probably slot some more in - especially in September / October - once I know the schedule.
So once I have recovered from bub's arrival and gotten back into the gym and running I will be blogging how I get back my running fitness, lose my baby weight and all my fitness plans! I am quite excited about it all and think 2015 is going to be an amazing year!

How far along:
24 weeks.

Symptoms:
I still have some rib pain on my right hand side especially when I overdo it.. but apart from that I am feeling great.
Total weight gain/loss:
Still sitting around 10kg weight gain which I am happy with!
Maternity clothes?
As previous - Yes!
Stretch marks?
As previous - Yes! Coming up a bit more now but all good!
Sleep:
Sleeping ok with a lot of early morning wake ups to visit the toilet!
What I miss:
Nothing this week.
Movement:
Lots of kicking and poking about!
Exercise this week:
Nothing this week!
Food cravings:
Lots of fruit this week and lindt balls!
Have you started to show yet:
Yes! I look very pregnant - much further along than I am!
Gender:
Boy!
Questions or concerns this weeks:
Nothing!
Baby Buys:
Nothing for the baby in particular.
Lots coming up this week!
Thursday - Gestational Diabetes Test.
Friday - Midwife appointment at the hospital and my sis Beck arrives late Friday night for the weekend - so a super flying visit.
Saturday - BJ's birthday.
Sunday - My Baby shower.
Monday - Removalists are coming to pack up our stuff to go overseas.
So so much going on! I am pretty tired thinking about it all! I will be blogging about the baby shower and how I go in my GTT test next week with my 25 week update. Hopefully all good since I have been eating a fair bit of chocolate!
On that note I better get back to more packing and organising. We are throwing out a lot of stuff which is good, but the main problem is trying to work out what we are taking and what is going into storage.. such a big decision!

22 Weeks
How far along:
22 weeks.
Baby growth:
Baby Murray is now the size of a papaya! Measuring about 30 cm and weighs about 550 grams..
Symptoms:
I still have some rib pain on my right hand side. Feeling a lot better this week with the awful cold I had all gone now.
Total weight gain/loss:
Still sitting around 9kg.
Maternity clothes?
Yes!
Stretch marks?
Yes - coming up a bit more now.
Sleep:
Sleeping ok with a lot of 3am wake ups to visit the toilet!
What I miss:
Nothing this week.
Movement:
Lots of kicking!
Exercise this week:
I did some walking on Friday and over the weekend - 5km each time which felt good at the time. I was pretty tired afterwards but that is just because I have been lazy. I am going to try to keep it up as I feel great afterwards!
Food cravings:
Lots of water
Have you started to show yet:

Baby Buys:
I went and picked up my lay-by today which included the carseat (for after the capsule), baby rocker, playmat, some clothes, baby bag and just bits and pieces. I also picked up the bench top steriliser I bought second hand but it is great condition - looks brand new. I am also having someone drop off a really compact portacot this afternoon, which will be great to use when we do our jet setting from Penang.
We have just over 5 weeks until we move to Penang. I am actually quite calm, and not getting too stressed. We have had our apartment confirmed which looks amazing, and still waiting on schools spots being confirmed. There is really nothing we can do, so I am reminding myself about that and that is helping me not to stress out! I'm looking forward to just having our international removal in 2 weeks, and then leaving this house as that is the biggest thing. Of course in the next 5 weeks we have a lot of appointments - several appointments to get immunisations, I have to get a mole removed off my face which involves a plastic surgeon which will be interesting, not to mention more obstetrician appointments and a 3D scan where I am going with a good friend of mine to share the excitment. In the midst of all that I have friends visiting, a baby shower and a few other bits and pieces... So the next 5 weeks after going to go pretty quick, and be pretty busy!

Baby growth:
Baby Murray is now about the length of a carrot (27 centimetres long from crown to rump and weighing 340 grams).

Feeling no terrible baby symptoms this week at all except some rib pain on my right hand side which I think is my uterus, but I have been sick with a cold which has made me quite miserable. Feeling a little bit better now after a few days off work.
Total weight gain/loss:
I actually lost a kilogram this week so down to 9kg gain as of yesterday! I was back on myfitnesspal last week before the cold knocked me for a six and that must have helped! So back being healthy and hoping to keep the weight gain down.

Nothing because i've felt terrible. I want to get back into the walking on the weekend and also start swimming. I just need to go and get some goggles and some swimming bits and pieces so I can do some laps.
